Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2008 Las Vegas
January 20th, 2008 · No Comments
This was my first time attending CES and it was the largest, most exciting convention that I have ever been to. Perhaps the AVN Adult Entertainment Convention, which was going on the same week in Vegas, was more exciting, but sadly I cannot confirm. CES is considered to be the largest Consumer Electronics Show in the world and it is buzzing with debuting technology and people from various backgrounds and countries.
Almost every major electronics manufacturer has an exhibit at CES. The “exhibits” can range from a lemonade stand sized booth to a 10,000+ square foot techno maze.
Some of the more interesting sights around CES. Custom computer cases, the Sony Rolli, and a full scale Transformer.
Better believe there were some wild TVs at CES. Ultra thin Sony OLED TVs drew a crowd. Panasonic debuted the biggest HDTV in the world at 150 inches. Sharp put together a synchronized Aquos display which was larger than life too.
I didn’t know CES would also be a full on Car Show…
Here are some more pics from the show floor.
