El Taurino is owned by the same folks who own the King Taco Chain and I hear the food here is very similar to King Taco. This place has a very peculiar setup. They actually had a full service El Taurino Taco Truck parked in the lot of the main El Taurino Restaurant. They have a full menu with all of the expected taco stand fare and I hear they make one helluva torta.
The Carne Asada Burrito was a good size. Not competition sized like some places, but still a filling portion. The meat was juicy and flavorful and it was covered in a sauce which was incredibly spicy with a strong dose of lime juice. The burrito was overflowing with juice and sauce and was impossible to eat without dripping all over the place. The meat was perfectly cut, the spices were aggressive and the sauce was plentiful.
Meat Size and Texture: 9
Meat Flavor: 8
Sauce: 8
Overall Burrito: 8.5
